Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley suffered an injury against the Tennessee Titans.
Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley exited their matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2 with a stinger. Barkley did return to the game, but didn't have much of an impact, rushing for just nine yards on four carries.
The star running back is going to undergo an MRI and said, "[We] will know more in the future."
The Eagles will hope Barkley doesn't miss too much time, as he is one of the best running backs in the league.
In his first year in Philadelphia, he had an unreal season, winning Offensive Player of the Year, rushing for 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns along with 33 receptions for 278 yards and two touchdowns.
He wasn't as dynamic in 2025, but still had a solid year, rushing for 1,140 yards and seven touchdowns, and catching 37 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns.

In Week 2, Philadelphia rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on the ground (2.8 yards per carry), with Tank Bigsby leading the way with 33 yards and the touchdown on 13 carries.
This inefficient run game will cause the Eagles to continue to struggle, as they've had narrow wins in Weeks 1 and 2 over the Washington Commanders and Titans.
Philadelphia has a strong roster, and if their run-blocking can create more holes and Barkley comes back healthy, they could become a true contender to win the NFC and compete for a Super Bowl.
Getting the run game going will also make it on Jalen Hurts and the passing attack after he threw two interceptions against the Titans on Sunday.
The Eagles will hope Barkley's MRI comes back clean and he can suit up for Week 3 against the Bears as they look to improve to 3-0.
