Eagles Should Reunite With Super Bowl Champion to Fix Biggest Question

If one thing is for certain around the NFL, it's the reality that teams can never have enough offensive line help. It reminds me of Major League Baseball, where teams can't have enough pitching.

The reality here is that the Philadelphia Eagles, if you expect them to be one of the best in the NFL next season, have a very good offensive line. However, that doesn't mean that Philadelphia won't continue to improve on that front.

In fact, if we've seen Howie Roseman do anything over the past few years, it's his ability to go out and make the necessary small moves, as well as the major ones. There's a reason why many consider him one of the best executives in the NFL, so I expect him to continue going out there and doing what's needed on all fronts this offseason.

If an opportunity arises, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go out and sign said player. One player in particular who is now coming up as a potential option is Mekhi Becton, who was on the Eagles' Super Bowl team just a few years ago.

“He is just two years removed from his best season to date, which took place in Philadelphia,” Bryan DeArdo wrote on Becton.

“That season, he helped Saquon Barkley become the ninth player to rush for 2,000 yards in a season. That year ended with Becton and his teammates hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The 6-foot-7, 363-pound Becton can still make an impact if he’s in the right situation. With the Eagles, he could help them rebound from last year’s unsuccessful title defense.”

Becton certainly hasn't been the type of player that everybody was hoping for over the past few seasons, but I'd still go as far as to say that he's been a decent player.

After being selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, going 11th overall to the New York Jets, people were definitely expecting more out of him.

However, he's still been a rather decent player, and Eagles fans found that out. Not to say that he's perfect or a starter by any means, but I think he's good enough to play when needed, and there's something to be said about that.
