Hollywood Brown spoke about A.J. Brown's uncertain future with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed Hollywood Brown this offseason in free agency, so the team now has two Browns on offense.

Philadelphia has Hollywood and A.J. Brown.

However, the Eagles could trade A.J. this offseason. It's something Hollywood understands could happen.

"We talked about it. Of course, I want A.J. there," Hollywood said on the Speakeasy podcast. "You want to be surrounded by great players, and he's a great player. And his last name is Brown. I want him there.

"But at the end of the day, me understanding that it's a business, he's got to do what he's got to do. Whatever he feels that's best for him. But, for me, I'm coming in and I'm trying to make plays. Whoever's in the building, we're going to get it right, and that's all I'm trying to do."

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Monday that the Eagles are likely to wait until after June 1 to trade A.J. because his dead money hit would be lowered from $40 million to $20 million.

A.J. had 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He and Jalen Hurts weren't on the same page.

A three-time Pro Bowler, A.J. has been with the Eagles since 2022. He has 339 receptions for 5,034 yards and 32 touchdowns in a Philadelphia uniform, helping the franchise beat the Kansas Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

The Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots have been heavily linked to A.J., who doesn't have a no-trade clause in his contract. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel coached A.J. in Tennessee.

Hollywood spent the past two seasons with the Chiefs. He had 49 catches last season for 587 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns.

A Florida native, Hollywood has played for the Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals and Chiefs. He enters next season with 371 career receptions for 4,322 receiving yards and 33 receiving touchdowns in 90 games.

Hollywood's best season in the NFL came in 2021 with the Ravens. He recorded 91 receptions for 1,008 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns.

Philadelphia lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card round of the 2026 NFL playoffs. Kevin Patullo was fired as OC after just one season. He was replaced by Sean Mannion, who worked with the Green Bay Packers last season.
