After signing with the Philadelphia Eagles, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown shared a strong message about Jalen Hurts.
Brown believes Hurts is one of the best deep passers in the NFL.
"I personally feel like he's one of the top vertical passers in the league," Brown said. "His deep ball is great. ... That's attractive to a receiver. You know he's putting it on the money. And on third down when it matters, money downs, he can make it happen however he's gotta do it. It don't matter how it looks, he's gonna make it happen."
Brown spent the past two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. He had 49 catches last season for 587 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns.
A Florida native, Brown has played for the Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals and Chiefs. He enters next season with 371 career receptions for 4,322 receiving yards and 33 receiving touchdowns in 90 games.
Brown's best season in the NFL came in 2021 with the Ravens. He recorded 91 receptions for 1,008 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns.
Hurts finished the 2025 season with 3,224 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 421 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns. He completed 64.8% of his passes.
After the season, Philadelphia fired Kevin Patullo as OC. Last season under Patullo, scoring dropped from 27.2 (ranked seventh in 2024) to 22.3 (19th) points per game; offensive efficiency dipped from fourth best in the league to 19th; and the rushing attack plummeted from 179 yards per game (2nd) to 116.9 (18th).
Hurts will be coached by Sean Mannion next season. Philadelphia hired the Green Bay Packers QB coach as its new OC.
