Green Bay is an offensive line away from being elite.

The noise is real when it comes to a potential trade of Landon Dickerson for the Philadelphia Eagles, something that's going to be figured out over the next 10 or so days.

The Eagles find themselves in a position where they can move on from guys like Dickerson, but I also think it's important to recognize that he's still an above-average player, and while there have been some injuries and other problems throughout his career, other teams around the league are going to see value in this guy.

That's part of why the Eagles might ultimately move on from him, and in a sense, it's tough to disagree. The Eagles still have to figure out what that draft compensation will look like, though they should find some teams desperate to land a player of Dickerson's caliber at this year's deadline.

Above-average offensive linemen are few and far between, and Dickerson is just that.

As for teams that could use Dickerson, a squad like the Green Bay Packers stands out.

The Packers have one of the more below-average offensive lines in football, and given how well Jordan Love has played, it's scary to think what he could be with an offensive line that can hold him upright and get the run game going. With Josh Jacobs also returning, Dickerson could be a big help in Green Bay.

“Josh Jacobs has his most success as an A- and B-gap runner. That’s where the highest volume of his carries have gone throughout his career and the highest EPA per carry. The Packers have found something in Laken Tomlinson—what’s a step below lightning in a bottle?—and still have Kevin Zeitler working his way back to playing speed. Mekhi Becton Sr. was also recently promoted from the active roster. Green Bay has had a miserable time cycling through interior offensive linemen and Nelson is one of the greatest guards in modern football history.

“While there is obviously a concern with giving up more picks for talented players, Brian Gutekunst is already pot committed to this Packers team,” Conor Orr wrote.

It feels safe saying this Packers team has a chance to win a Super Bowl, and it's going to ride it out with its current core.

If the Packers don't win a Super Bowl this season or possibly next year, there are likely going to be some changes.

For their front office not to go out and make the necessary moves to improve their roster would be very questionable after what they've already done, meaning that a guy like Dickerson could certainly be a player they pursue.
