The Philadelphia Eagles definitely need to make some adjustments this offseason seeing the way their 2025 campaign just ended.
While the Eagles look solid on paper, it's clear that they have some holes that need to be addressed, and that will be even more glaring if they end up trading wide receiver A.J. Brown (which some feel is an inevitability).
DeVonta Smith is a terrific receiver, but if Philadelphia moves Brown, it will need to find a replacement somewhere, and Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine has pitched a rather intriguing option for the club: Green Bay Packers wide out Dontayvion Wicks.
In fact, Ballentine feels that Wicks could represent a possibility for the Eagles even if Brown stays to fill their No. 3 receiver role.
Wicks caught 30 passes for 332 yards and a couple of touchdowns this past season, marking the least productive campaign of his NFL career to date.
The 24-year-old was originally selected by the Packers in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft and enjoyed a surprising rookie season, hauling in 39 receptions for 581 yards and four scores. That was good for a robust average of 14.9 yards per catch.

Green Bay has been absolutely loaded at wide receiver throughout Wicks' tenure, featuring Jayden Reed, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs. The Packers also selected both Matthew Golden and Savion Williams in the draft last April.
As a result, Green Bay may need to trim the fat somewhere, although that might happen naturally with Doubs hitting free agency next month.
Regardless, if the Packers do look to move Wicks, Philadelphia could absolutely comprise a potential landing spot for the University of Virginia product.
Philly also just hired former Green Bay offensive assistant/quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion as its new offensive coordinator, so a connection to Wicks exists there, too.
It was clear throughout all of 2025 that the Eagles' offense was lacking, and while Jalen Hurts and former offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo may have been the primary culprits, Philadelphia could also afford to add another piece.
