The Philadelphia Eagles have already swung several trades before the NFL trade deadline, acquiring cornerbacks Michael Carter II and Jaire Alexander as well as edge rusher Jaelan Phillips to bolster their defense.
It doesn't look like the Eagles will be moving wide receiver A.J. Brown in spite of the rampant speculation that the three-time Pro Bowler was on his way out of Philadelphia, but Philly did add another pass-catcher prior to Tuesday's deadline: Danny Gray.
The Eagles have announced that they have signed Gray to their practice squad, releasing offensive lineman Sua Opeta to clear room for the 26-year-old.
This is certainly not Gray's first experience in Philadelphia. The Eagles originally signed him to their practice squad last September and eventually signed him to a futures deal in February. However, they released him back in August.

Gray was originally selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He never got much of a chance with the 49ers, logging one catch for 10 yards during his rookie campaign before hitting the injured reserve list before 2023.
San Francisco proceeded to release Gray last year, which was when Philadelphia decided to pick him up. Gray played two years of JUCO ball before landing with SMU in 2020, where he accumulated 82 receptions for 1,251 yards and 13 touchdowns over two seasons.
Philly just traded a wide receiver away in John Metchie (in the Carter deal) shortly before adding Gray, so the Eagles are likely hoping that Gray adds some depth in their wide receiver room.
As far as Philadelphia making any other significant moves? You have to think that general manager Howie Roseman is mostly done, as he filled the team's two biggest needs already.
Those expecting Brown to be moved are going to be disappointed, as there never appeared to be any serious chance of the Eagles trading their top receiver in spite of his behavioral issues.
Philadelphia is 6-2 and has won a couple of games in a row after suffering back-to-back losses. The Eagles will face the Green Bay Packers in a potential NFC Championship Game preview next Monday.
