The Philadelphia Eagles continue to be busy this offseason.
On Thursday, the Eagles and three-time Pro Bowl OG Landon Dickerson agreed to a revised two-year contract at around $36 million, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Dickerson was previously due $39 million in 2026-27. He can hit that with 2027 incentives. The Eagles star was due $15.7 million this year. He is no longer under contract in 2028.
Dickerson nearly retired this offseason before announcing his return.
The Eagles' strong offensive line has been a major part of their recent success. Philadelphia won the Super Bowl last year against the Kansas City Chiefs and RB Saquon Barkley rushed for over 2,000 yards.
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts must be happy that Dickerson will be back next season. Protecting Hurts is one of Philadelphia's biggest priorities, as Hurts was sacked 32 times in 2025.
A one-time Super Bowl MVP, Hurts finished with 3,224 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 421 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns in 2025. He and OC Kevin Patullo didn't have a good relationship.
Sean Mannion is the Eagles' new OC. He was the Green Bay Packers' quarterbacks coach in 2025 and appeared in 14 NFL games with the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings from 2015 to 2021.
In 2025 under Patullo, scoring dropped from 27.2 (ranked seventh) to 22.3 (19th) points per game; offensive efficiency dipped from fourth best in the league to 19th; and the rushing attack plummeted from 179 yards per game (2nd) to 116.9 (18th).
With Dickerson and future Hall of Famer Lane Johnson back, the Eagles will look to get back to the promised land next season. The only question remaining is whether WR A.J. Brown will be on the team.
Brown has been in trade rumors all offseason. He had 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Brown and Hurts weren't on the same page.
Philadelphia is looking for a first-round pick for Brown, who doesn't have a no-trade clause.
