Many people around the NFL believe the Philadelphia Eagles could trade WR A.J. Brown this offseason.
One of Brown's teammates, though, thinks the Pro Bowler will be back next season.
"I think so," Brandon Graham said on his podcast. "I really do think so. "If Howie make a splash with the coordinator, I think it will probably spark some interest with people wanting to come back and have a real conversation on how you feel about this and all that because I know Howie don't want to get rid of no good players."
During the Eagles' Wild Card Round loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Nick Sirianni and Brown got into a heated sideline exchange.
The Eagles lost to the 49ers at home by a final score of 23-19. Brown had two drops, tying a career high, and declined to speak to the media postgame.
Sirianni, though, not only downplayed the spat with Brown, but he also defended the polarizing WR.
"I think he knows how I feel about him," Sirianni said about Brown. "I have a special relationship with him. We've probably [gone] through every emotion you can possibly have together. We've laughed together. We've cried together. We've yelled at each other. We're both emotional. I was trying to get him off the field, and that happens in this game. That happens in this game, but I love him."
Brown finished the Eagles-49ers game with three catches for 25 yards on seven targets. He was booed by Philadelphia fans after his second drop in the fourth quarter.
"He's got the best hands I've ever seen," Sirianni said about Brown. "The way he catches the ball, the amount of different types of catches that he's made. When you get as many targets as he does, you're going to have some drops. I know he will beat himself up on that."
Many people who cover the NFL believe the Eagles should trade Brown this offseason. Brown had 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season. He and QB Jalen Hurts weren't on the same page at all.
Brown has been with the Eagles since 2022. He has 339 receptions for 5,034 yards and 32 touchdowns in a Philadelphia uniform.
Eagles GM Howie Roseman said this about Brown during his season-ending press conference: "It's hard to find great players in the NFL and A.J.'s a great player. That's what we're going out and looking for when we go out in free agency and the Draft is trying to find great players who love football and he's that guy. So that would be my answer."
