In what has seemed like a never-ending story surrounding his future with the Eagles, AJ Brown trade rumors have once again been brought to the surface.
The Philadelphia Eagles have had quite the offseason from an optics standpoint thus far. They didn't enter the offseason gracefully by any means after being upset in the first round of the playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers, and it's seemingly gone downhill from there.
To start, they've lost multiple defensive pillars over the course of free agency, including guys like Reed Blankenship, Nakobe Dean, and Jaelan Phillips.
To be fair, some of those players were able to make solid money elsewhere that the Eagles shouldn't have paid, but it's not great to lose that many starters regardless.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere, came the Jalen Hurts smear campaign.
After an original article dropped regarding some of his issues in the organization, like poor body language and not being coachable, even more news was released, including the Eagles' reluctance to sign him to an extension unless they see a legitimate uptick in production this next season.
Obvisouly there's another massive storyline that's been lingering over the franchise since the season ended. That's the case of what the Eagles are going to do with franchise wide receiver AJ Brown.
AJ Brown Trade Rumors Not Going Away Quietly

Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-Imagn ImagesThe Athletic's Zach Berman recently reported that while statements from some within the Eagles organization have recently implied that AJ Brown is set to remain an Eagle, the general consensus among league executives is that he'll still be moved.
He noted that the leaders in the clubhouse to land him are still believed to be the New England Patriots, but also brought up the conversations the Rams had with Philadelphia while Los Angeles was considering including Davante Adams in the trade.
Last year, in what was considered a down year, Brown still surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth time in six seasons. If the Eagles were to trade him, there's certainly no guarantee of finding someone as good, despite some within the organization saying they would embrace Devonta Smith as their WR1.
At this point in the summer, unfortunately for Eagles fans, there's not much else to talk about, considering the massive cap implications surrounding the date of June 1st; these conversations won't be going away for some time.
