It’s really tough to say that anything has gone right for the Philadelphia Eagles throughout the 2025 season.

On the surface, the Eagles' offense should be a lot better than it’s been, but until something changes or players simply start to play better, we likely won’t see anything change.

However, that hasn’t stopped many from being upset with what the Eagles have done on that side of the football. That includes ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky, who is known for putting up film each week on certain teams. Orlovsky focused on the Eagles recently and had a lot to say about their inability to block and their lack of a run game with Saquon Barkley.

“They don’t do one thing well offensively,” Orlovsky said. “If I had to use the words and give you adjectives to describe this offense over the course of the season: predictable, boring, stale, self-inflicting, uncreative, and unexplosive.”

“They’re not what they were last year on offense,” Orlovsky said. “Last year, they were historically great when it came to running the football. That’s not reality. Their tailback was historically great. He just hasn’t had the same impact.”

“If you struggle as an offense on first down, it makes second down much harder, and then therefore third down much harder,” Orlovsky said. “Until they play better as an offensive line and play better offensively on first down, that’s not going to get fixed.”

I still think the offensive problems have to be put on more players than just Barkley.

Not to say that he’s done a great job this year, as this is certainly the worst we’ve ever seen Barkley play as an NFL player, but it’s impossible to blame one player for all of the struggles we’ve seen on that side of the football.

The harsh reality is that the Eagles haven’t done enough, and I can sit here and blame Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Kevin Patullo, or anyone else.

We’ll see if anything changes in the near future, but it’s evident that something has to be done in order for the Eagles to become what they’re trying to be.

After Monday night's brutal showing from Hurts, the blame probably has to go on him.
