If all fans have heard about the frustration going around in the Philadelphia Eagles locker room, it's obvious that quarterback Jalen Hurts had to hear some of the noise about what was going on in the room.

While we don't know how true everything is about the locker room situation, we also know that Eagles fans haven't been too happy about the quarterback play and the offense in general.

When addressing the media on Wednesday, I think Hurts put it best. He admitted that he isn't surprised by anything, and considering he's the leader of this offense, he has to take it on the chin.

"I'm not surprised by anything. This is kind of the nature of the position," Hurts said, per ESPN. "But I put my energy and my focus on trying to go out there and do my best and trying to learn, trying to build, trying to take in the things that I can to try and improve."

Unfortunately for Hurts, and one thing I didn't agree with when he spoke about this, was the fact that when things are going well, he doesn't get all of the attention.

Even last season, a lot of the focus was on Saquon Barkley, and while it might’ve been cair, we also ignored the fact that Hurts allowed Barkley to do what he did in the run game due to making the right plays at the quarterback position.

Still, he takes pride in what he does on offense, adding that a lot of this starts with him.

"I guess I get a lot of attention when things are going well and when things are not going so well," Hurts said. "I never run away from holding myself accountable, and I think that's exactly what I've taken the approach of doing.

"I take great pride in what we do on offense. I take great pride in how we go out there and play as a team and what our flow is. I think we've got work to do, and that obviously starts with me. That's always my approach. That's always me looking internally first in everything that we do and then in due time rising above."

Like I've said many times, Hurts is one of the better leaders in the NFL, so I expect him to figure this thing out.
