Falcons Running Back Bijan Robinson Gives Glimpse into New Staff's Minicamp

The Atlanta Falcons are getting after it.

The Atlanta Falcons are officially in a new era, beginning their first mandatory minicamp this past week under a new coaching staff that fans hope can bring a whole lot more success than the team has had over the last decade.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski arrives after a tenure in Cleveland in which he got one of the worst organizations in football back to the playoffs and even won a game before things bottomed out last year following years of front office mismanagement.

With Stefanski getting a fresh start, the Falcons hope to do the same, and so far, it seems the players have seen the impact of what a new coach can do once he gets into the building.

Speaking with the media, Atlanta running back Bijan Robinson talked about how minicamp has seen some legitimate intensity rather than just going through the motions, and he credited the coaching staff for that.

Robinson Offers Praise to Way New Staff Has Run Camp

"They've been doing a great job creating a lot of urgency for us," Robinson said via Falcons.com. "We're not just out there loligagging, we're out there really focused. There's not really a break time to do anything, so we're always trying to maximize our efforts out there on the field."

Nobody is more qualified to speak on the way this organization is being run than one of the most key faces in it, and Robinson is certainly that. This is a guy who is an absolutely massive part of the team's plan moving forward, and clearly, that plan means winning.

Stefanski had a ton of success with Browns running back Nick Chubb, and there's no reason why Robinson can't match or even exceed that. The offensive line should continue to be one of the best in football, and under Stefanski and new Falcons offensive line coach Bill Callahanm Cleveland found success on the ground the likes of which Robinson will try to recreate.

It's not to say the team has not taken minicamp seriously or anything like that in previous regimes, but it does seem the players have gone out of their way to talk about the fact that things are not status quo in the building right now.

Atlanta needed some major changes in the building, and right now it's becoming more clear than ever that Stefanski presents change. Time will tell if it's what they Falcons were missing or not.
