Falcons Could Be Perfect Landing Spot for Bills WR Keon Coleman

The Atlanta Falcons could target Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman in a potential trade as Kevin Stefanski reshapes the offense. Pairing Coleman with Drake London would give Atlanta another young weapon as the franchise pushes to end its long playoff drought.

The Atlanta Falcons will have a new-looking offense in 2026.

The team is in a really interesting situation heading into the new season with brand-new coach Kevin Stefanski taking the helm and two quarterbacks battling for the starting role. Add in some new (but familiar) faces in the organization's front office, and the urgency to end the team's playoff drought, one that's been going on since the 207 season, continues to grow.

One thing that can always be improved is adding more key weapons to the Atlanta Falcons' offense. As the team obviously has to prioritize extending star wide receiver Drake London, adding more to the wide receiver room to help build the supporting cast would be ideal to ensure the Falcons' offense fires on all cylinders.

A change of scenery for some players is sometimes all it takes to get their full potential inside the NFL, and that's exactly what many have in mind for wide receiver Keon Coleman, who has continued to find himself among trade rumors all offseason.

Although the Buffalo Bills seem to want to keep Golesh on the roster after team owner Terry Pegula spoke about him after firing former head coach Sean McDermott, ESPN released an interesting hypothetical trade offer for Golesh to the Atlanta Falcons. The team would offer a 2027 fourth-round pick to get the wide receiver and a 2028 sixth-round pick in return. And as for a player who was drafted just outside the first round in 2024, it seems like a steal if Matt Ryan in the front office could get it done.

ESPN stated that the reason this deal would make sense is that the Falcons are "a logical fit because of where they are as a team." The Falcons are clearly trying to build something, bringing in Matt Ryan and a new head coach who had playoff success very early in his coaching career with the Cleveland Browns.

Coleman would likely find himself as the second wide receiver, only behind Drake London, if he were traded to the Atlanta Falcons, a much better situation than where he likely is on the depth chart in Buffalo. This trade could be a win-win for both sides, and if Coleman breaks out in his third year in the league, the Falcons would also have him under contract for 2027.

If the Bills are willing to move on from Keon Coleman, a Falcons trade would make a ton of sense and is certainly one to watch as we get closer to the start of the season.
