Atlanta Falcons star Bijan Robinson received major praise from Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis, who called him “the class of the NFL.” After a 2,000-yard season from scrimmage, Robinson enters 2026 poised for another huge year under new head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Atlanta Falcons star running back Bijan Robinson received high praise from one of the best to play the game at his position.

Falcons offensive star is entering his fourth season in the NFL, and there is a ton of upside still left in his game. He's hoping to pick up right where he left off from last season, where he finished with over 2,000 total yards from scrimmage, including almost 1,500 yards rushing on the ground with 11 touchdowns.

And it's not just Falcons fans who are seeing the potential rise to stardom in Robinson's game. NFL legend and Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis joined 92.9 The Game on Thursday and had plenty of good things to say about the young running back. "I love what he does. His ability to run inside, run outside, he can do it all," said Bettis.

Getting this type of love from a player like Bettis should not be overshadowed. The 13-year pro rushed for over 13,000 yards and scored 91 rushing touchdowns in his career. The 1993 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year rushed for over a thousand yards in eight of his 13 seasons. Bijan will be looking for his third season in four years to surpass that mark already in his young career.

The praise didn't stop there from the Hall of Fame running back. "He's a really special running back. He catches the ball out of the backfield, I mean, he can do everything you could ask your running back to do, and I think he's the class of the NFL," when speaking about Robinson.

It could be a massive season for Robinson in 2026 with the newly arrived head coach, Kevin Stefanski, in Atlanta. During his time as head coach of the Cleveland Browns, he relied heavily on the run game, and with questions surrounding who will be the team's starting quarterback entering the new year, that might happen again naturally.

We will know for sure just how good a season Bijan Robinson will have right away as the Falcons take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, one of Jerome Bettis's former teams, to begin the 2026 season.
