Jaguars Opponents: Browns Trade Myles Garrett

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ first game of the 2026 regular season won’t feature Myles Garrett.
The longtime Cleveland Browns’ star has been traded to the Los Angeles Rams.
In exchange, Cleveland received Jared Verse, who has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first two seasons and was Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2024, a 2027 first-round pick and additional draft picks still being negotiated by Cleveland.
