The Jaguars have been dealing with injuries across the offensive line for just about the entire season, but they may be getting some good news this week ahead of their Wild Card playoff against the Buffalo Bills.

Right guard Patrick Mekari returned to practice this week after missing the last two games with a back injury. Mekari has been limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, but has a chance to return to the starting lineup Sunday.

Walker Little has started twice in the position in place of Mekari, but may need to step in at left tackle for the injured Cole Van Lanen.

Mekari’s return would make that transition smoother for the Jaguars. Friday’s injury report will be very telling for Mekari’s potential return.
