Trevor Lawrence breaks records, Cam Little kicks into history, as the Jacksonville Jaguars dominate the Tennessee Titans for the AFC South crown and their eighth straight win.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence had a record-breaking Sunday, as Jacksonville routed the Tennessee Titans, 41-7, to win its fifth AFC South title in franchise history.

Lawrence went 22-for-30 passing for 255 yards and three touchdowns in the Jaguars' season finale to lead the team to its eighth consecutive victory and its first season with 13 wins since 1999.

The Jags locked up a home playoff game as the AFC's No. 3 seed. They will host the Buffalo Bills (12-5) in a wild-card game next weekend.

Head coach Liam Coen told reporters after Sunday's contest that he couldn't be more proud of this Jaguars team.

"The resiliency of this group, the mental toughness of this group," Coen said. "For these guys to stay the course, keep allowing us to keep coaching -- they're a fun, special group to be around. "

Lawrence reached 38 total TDs for the season; the fifth-year starter has 29 passing touchdowns and nine rushing. That total surpasses former Jags QB Blake Bortles' record of 37, set in 2015.

Lawrence, after the game, was thrilled about the Jags' success in the regular season.

"It's been an awesome year. Just to finish it this way, to be able to win the division," he told reporters. "It took a lot of focus and grit."

Jacksonville dropped their second game of the season, to the Cincinnati Bengals, then had two more losses in Weeks 6 and 7 (to the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams, respectively), before their bye week. In the 10 games after the bye, the Jags won nine, losing only the Houston Texans in Week 10.

"We had some ups and some downs," Lawrence added. "You look at how we're playing now, I feel like we're playing our best ball at the most important time going into the playoffs."

The Titans dropped to 3-14 on the season; they were eliminated from playoff contention after losing to the Jaguars in Week 13.

Rookie quarterback Cam Ward left Sunday's game at Everbank Stadium on Tennessee's first possession, five minutes into the first quarter, after injuring his shoulder while scoring the Titans' only touchdown on a 7-yard run. Ward, the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft, later appeared on the Tennessee sideline in street clothes and wearing a sling on his right arm.

Until the injury, Ward had taken every snap under center this season for the Titans.

The Jaguars scored four minutes later on a Lawrence 23-yard pass to receiver Parker Washington. Kicker Cam Little then sent home the first of his five extra-point kicks of the game.

Little also made Jaguars history on Sunday, booming a 67-yard field goal before halftime, to surpass the franchise record for most points in a season.

Little's first of two FGs on Sunday was the longest outdoor field goal in the history of professional football, and that make broke kicker Mike Hollis' mark of 134 points, set in 1997. Little began the day with 129 points, and finished with 140 points on the season.

The second-year pro booted a FG in the third quarter and an extra point after running back Bhayshul Tuten's rushing touchdown at 7:38 in the fourth.

Lawrence also connected with tight end Brenton Strange (7-yarder) and WR Quintin Morris (5-yarder) for touchdowns. Lawrence stayed in the game until partway through the fourth quarter so he could surpass 4,000 yards passing for the third time in his five-year NFL career.

He also topped Bortles (17,646) for the second-most passing yards in Jaguars history. Lawrence trails only Mark Brunell, who amassed 25,698 yards during his 1995-2003 tenure with the Jags.

"He's playing at such a high level," Coen said after the game Sunday. "The year that he's had, especially since the bye, the way he's playing at an MVP caliber, he's earned it."

In between these TDs by the Jags' offense, safety Antonio Johnson intercepted Titans backup QB Brandon Allen and ran it back 58 yards for a TD. The pick-six gave Johnson his team-leading fourth interception of the season.

"It seems like every week (Johnson is) making a big play for us and stepping up in critical moments," Coen said. "You would say that play really kind of took this game into a different direction."

Jaguars offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen, who on Friday signed a three-year, $51 million extension, injured his right knee in the fourth quarter Sunday.
