Trevor Lawrence is dismantling defenses by spreading the wealth. With five different players already scoring multiple touchdowns, Jacksonville’s diverse attack proves they don't need a lone superstar.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are off to a hot start, having won three of their first four games, with two of them being by 24 and 29 points respectively.

The offense is hot.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence was playing as well as anybody in the game toward the end of last year, and that's carried over into this year.

Through four games, Lawrence is tied for eighth in the league with eight touchdown passes and has only thrown two interceptions.

He's also completed more than 69 percent of his passes, which is sixth among QBs who have started at least four games. Lawrence has been doing all this without the benefit of a bona fide No. 1 receiver.

Instead, the Jags are the only team in the NFL that has five players with two or more touchdowns.

As expected, receivers Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington are on this list, with each of them having two touchdown receptions.

Young Josh Cameron, who the Jags took in the sixth round of this year's draft, has been one of the team's more interesting players. He's only been targeted six times through four games, but has caught five of them for 74 yards (14.8 yards per catch) and two touchdowns.

On the ground, Bhayshul Tuten has been the team's bell cow, leading the team with 277 yards rushing on 60 carries (4.6 YPC).

In touchdowns, Tuten is even with Chris Rodriguez, a veteran whom the Jags signed over the offseason.  Rodriguez had previously been with the Washington Commanders.

Nobody leads the Jags in rushing or receiving touchdowns, and a bunch of people have two.

Something Jags fans might take away from all of this is that Brian Thomas Jr. is not one of the five with multiple TDs.

It would be a fair takeaway to have, considering fans were hoping BTJ would be more like the player that set the league on fire as a rookie in 2024 (1,282 yards, 10 touchdowns, 87 catches). But Thomas had a disappointing season statistically last year (707 yards, two touchdowns, 48 catches) and is off to a disappointing start in this year.

Through four games, Thomas has 105 yards and a touchdown on nine catches, having been targeted 14 times.

The good news is that the Jags won 13 games last year without a superstar receiver, so who's to say they need one this year?
