The Indianapolis Colts will limp into EverBank Stadium Sunday and take on the Jacksonville Jaguars for outright possession of first place in the AFC South. The winner will have the inside track to controlling their own destiny and taking the division title.

Looking back three months ago, no one probably had the Jacksonville Jaguars in first place, playing in an early-December AFC South showdown against the Indianapolis Colts.

If you did, draw up your six numbers immediately and drive to your favorite convenience store and buy a lottery ticket.

The Jaguars (8-4), on a three-game winning streak, host the Colts (8-4), Sunday for a 1 p.m. (ET) kickoff at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.

Not surprisingly, even though Jacksonville currently holds a tiebreaker over the Colts and is coming off a 25-3 road win in Tennessee, the Jaguars (+1.5) are short home underdogs - as of right now- as per Action Network.

Indianapolis, trending in the wrong direction after building a comfortable lead in AFC South, is 1-3 in its last four games, including a 20-16 loss to the Houston Texans last Sunday.

Jacksonville is listed at (+107) on the money line, while Indianapolis is (-127). The over/under is set around 48.5, depending which sports book is being viewed.

The Jaguars are 4-2 against the spread at home.

The Colts, despite back-to-back losses, including one in Kansas City, are, surprisingly, short road favorites, even without recently-acquired cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf), who is currently listed as doubtful against the Jaguars.

To make matters worse, Colts QB Daniel Jones reportedly has a fractured fibula, adding more injury concerns for a team already missing defensive end DeForest Buckner.

Additionally, the Colts, winless in Jacksonville since 2014, not only has two games remaining against the Jaguars, but are also facing teams with a combined record of 33-15 the rest of the way.

And while the Jaguars, with quarterback Trevor Lawrence behind center, have overachieved this season and are just 3-3 as an underdog.

Indianapolis is 7-4-1 against the spread this season, including 3-2 on the road.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence addressed the media on Wednesday and said this is the biggest game his team will have played so far this season. While he said that remark, he noted that all games from hereon out will be the most important game of the season.

Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence (16) calls his own number inside the five yard line against Tennessee during their game at Nissan Stadium Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.

“Yeah, for sure. This point in the season, they're all huge then given a division opponent, obviously the records of both of our teams. I think all that, the point of the season that we're in, the opportunities are getting less and less every week, Lawrence said. "So, I think just where we're at in our season, it's a big game. They're all important though. All of the games are important to get to this point to put ourselves in position, but yeah, definitely big game.”

Lawrence is excited to see a packed home stadium and seeing how electric the fans will be in energizing the team.

“It's going to be huge. I'm excited just to see the atmosphere, obviously later in the season," Lawrence said. "And just with where we're at and our crowds have been awesome all year and every time we're in these big games, whether they're primetime later in the season, big games or whatever it is, division games, our fans always show up, so I expect no different. Really excited to feel the energy and just see a packed stadium.”
