After a record-breaking 2025, the Jacksonville Jaguars enter 2026 with Trevor Lawrence and stars poised to rewrite franchise history again.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off a historic 2025 season, both as a team and individually.
Last season the Jaguars set franchise marks for the most wins (13) in the 17-game era, most points scored (474), total touchdowns (55) and most games scoring 25 points or more (13).
The 2025 campaign also saw a number of players etch their names in the franchise records book. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence set the record for total touchdowns in a season (38), kicker Cam Little broke the NFL record for the longest field goal with a 68-yard make in week nine against the Las Vegas Raiders and defensive end Josh Hines-Allen became the Jaguars’ all-time leader in sacks with 61.
If head coach Liam Coen and Jacksonville can not only repeat the success of 2025 but sustain it, the franchise record books will be dominated with names like Little, Hines-Allen, and Lawrence, who Coen believes has only just begun to scratch the surface of what he can accomplish.
Along with the opportunity to break several notable franchise records in 2026, some records will be reset each time the Jaguars take the field next season.
Here are a few Jaguars’ career records to keep an eye on as the team heads into OTAs.
Surpassing Brunell
Jaguars legend Mark Brunell holds nearly every franchise passing record, but thanks to a MVP-caliber season, Lawrence has the chance to chip away at a few of those career records heading into his sixth season.
As mentioned before, Lawrence set the single-season total touchdown record with 38 last season, and that is the exact number he would need to break Brunell’s record of 155 total career touchdowns. He currently has 121 career total touchdowns (98 passing, 23 rushing).
While the total touchdowns record is within reach in 2026, it would take an extraordinary performance by Lawrence to surpass Brunell in career passing touchdowns. Brunell, who led Jacksonville to AFC Championship games in 1996 and 1999, currently holds the record with 144 touchdown passes, while Lawrence improved his career passing touchdown total to 98 with a career-high 29 last season.
To break the record in 2026, Lawrence would need to throw for at least the seventh-most touchdowns in a season (47) in NFL history.
Coen is no stranger to his quarterbacks throwing for touchdowns. In Coen's lone season as the offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024, quarterback Baker Mayfield threw for a career-high 41 touchdowns. Since 2020, a quarterback has thrown for 40 or more touchdowns 10 times.
Little’s Big Foot
In just two seasons, Little has become must-watch TV with his booming, long-yard field goal attempts. Along with setting the NFL record for the longest field goal, the former Arkansas Razorback converted from 67 yards out to set the record for the longest outdoor field goal in league history in Jacksonville's 41-7 win against the Tennessee Titans in the season finale.
In his short career, Little has converted 13 of 16 of field-goal attempts beyond 50 yards and is just 13 makes away from breaking Josh Scobee’s career record of 26 field goals beyond 50 yards. Last season, he also set the franchise's single-season record for points with 140.
Adding to Resume
Two career Jaguars will look to add to their totals as pros -- Hines-Allen and punter Logan Cooke.
Entering his eighth season, Hines-Allen not only can lengthen his lead as the franchise sack leader, the former Kentucky Wildcat can also increase his already considerable lead in career tackles for loss (75) in 2026.
Cooke, who is the longest tenured Jaguar, will play his ninth season for Jacksonville and already holds several team records. The former Mississippi State Bulldog is first in Jaguar history in games played (129), punts (528), punts inside the 20 (218), and net yards per punt (43.5).
Honorable Mention
Although he has only spent the last four years with the Jaguars, linebacker Foyesade Oluokun has become the face of the Jacksonville defense, amassing more than 300 solo tackles. Entering his ninth season, Oluokun is just 219 solo tackles from breaking Paul Posluszny’s team record of 587 solo tackles.
