Building on last season’s late-year surge, experts forecast a perfect five-game sweep as Trevor Lawrence navigates a gauntlet of divisional rivals and a physical showdown in Baltimore.
The Jacksonville Jaguars finished last November 4-1 en route to an eight-game winning streak to end the season, and ESPN is predicting an even stronger conclusion in 2026.
Jaguars' ESPN reporter Michael DiRocco's bold prediction for Jacksonville is to go undefeated in November.
"The Jaguars sweep November," DiRocco wrote. "They play five games that month, beginning with the (Indianapolis) Colts at home. Then come consecutive road games against the (Baltimore) Ravens, (Tennessee) Titans, and (New York) Giants, followed by a rematch with the Titans in Jacksonville to end the month. The Jaguars and QB Trevor Lawrence really got rolling in November 2025 -- winning the final eight games of the season to capture the AFC South -- and they should do it again in 2026."
Jacksonville will have three divisional games during the month: the Titans series and the Colts to open November. The Jaguars swept both series last season, playing a significant role in securing the AFC South title.
Tennessee, which finished the season in a four-way tie for the worst record (3-14), could not hold a candle to Jacksonville. The Jaguars put up 25 and 41 points in both matchups, while holding them to three and seven points.
Indianapolis, which collapsed late in the season due to injuries, almost defeated Jacksonville in Week 17, snapping a six-game winning streak. However, the defense couldn't string together enough stops to prevent two crucial field goals by kicker Cam Little.
The three divisional games for the Jaguars may favor them, but there are still the Giants and Ravens matchups to consider.
New York added Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese to its edge and added Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa to beef up the interior. The Giants have protection for quarterback Jaxson Dart, and running back Cam Skattebo is on track to start the 2026 season healthy.
These two teams last saw each other in 2022, with New York coming out on top, 23-17.
Baltimore is most likely the toughest game in Jacksonville's November slate. The team will have to plan against the dual-threat ability of quarterback Lamar Jackson and the physicality of running back Derrick Henry.
The Ravens also added Penn State offensive guard Olaivavega Ioane to strengthen the protection around Jackson.
Jacksonville and Baltimore last met in 2023, and the Ravens defeated the Jaguars, 23-7.
Going undefeated in November could be a tall task for Jacksonville, but the team went 4-1 in the month last season. It fueled their eight-game winning streak to end the season, propelling them to division champions.
Coach Liam Coen said that the team gave themselves opportunities to play meaningful games in November and December after defeating the Titans on Nov. 30.
"That's ultimately all you can ask for in this league," Coen said. "And the rest of the way, you've got competitive, meaningful football games. And I think that that's just an important thing for us to go through as a team."
