Let's just say Trevor Lawrence is already ready for another Jacksonville Jaguars season after a 13-win campaign in 2025.
Trevor Lawrence didn’t need a long speech. He didn't need a press conference or even a full sentence to make his point. One word was enough to send shockwaves through Jacksonville Jaguars social media.
After a season that flipped the narrative in Jacksonville, and the win-loss total from 2024, Lawrence took to social media Thursday with a simple message on his official X handle: "Reload."
It wasn’t flashy or overly emotional. Far from it. Still, it told you everything you need to know about where the Jaguars’ mindset is heading into 2026. This is a team that's looking for more.
In all honesty, it’s the only message that makes sense. In 2024, this organization floundered its way to a 4-13 finish. The run in 2025 was much sweeter, 13 wins and the AFC South's crown.
Lawrence once called last season a lot more "fun." No, the Jaguars and their fans are juggling something that has, at times, been unfamiliar. The word "expectations" is beginning to float around the fan base.
Can Jacksonville again claim divisional superiority? This turnaround doesn’t feel like an accident. It came from buying in to coach Liam Coen's leadership. Having a quarterback like Trevor Lawrence playing at a near-MVP level didn't hurt matters.
He often played his best football when it mattered most. Lawrence delivered, especially down the stretch, where he elevated both his play and the belief inside the locker room. Still, the ending stung.
Despite the regular-season success, Jacksonville’s playoff run was short-lived, falling at home in the wild-card round in a tight, emotional game. For a team that had just proven it could hang with anyone, this wasn’t just a loss. It was a reminder. Progress is real, but it isn’t complete.
That’s where Lawrence's message carries its weight.
It’s not about proving people wrong anymore. The Jaguars already did that. It’s about raising the standard. More wins. More consistency. More postseason success. More moments that matter in January (and hopefully February), not just December.
Good teams celebrate a 13-win season. Great teams look at it and immediately think about what’s missing. Lawrence’s message makes it clear which category Jacksonville believes it belongs in now.
There’s something dangerous about a team that just figured it out, and isn’t satisfied. If 2025 was about the breakthrough, 2026 is about the follow-up. With Lawrence setting the tone, the expectation inside that building is clear.
"Reload" isn’t a goal. Moving forward is more of a demand.
