Jaguars acquired six defensive talents that went undrafted. Discover which promising players join the team this spring to bolster the secondary and defensive front.
Following the 2026 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed 16 undrafted free agents, as of Saturday night, 11:00 p.m. ET.
After selecting five offensive and five defensive rookies with their 10 draft picks, the Jaguars have showed more focus on the offensive side of the ball with their UDFA signings, signing 10 offensive players and just six defensive.
These additions put Jacksonville's roster size at 90, likely accomadating for the remainder of their post-draft moves.
In this two-part series, I will track both the offensive and defensive additions that Jacksonville makes post-draft, starting with the defense.
Bryan Thomas Jr., DE, South Carolina
2025 Stats: 41 total tackles, 7 sacks, 3 forced fumbles
Following the draft, Thomas was ranked a top-10 defensive end still available, according to NFL.com.
As far as namesakes go, this one is going to be difficult for Jaguars announcers to follow. Jacksonville now has a "BTJ" on both sides of the ball.
Jalen Hunt, DT, Cincinnati
2025 Stats: 27 total tackles, 3.5 sacks
Hunt got his first real collegiate action last season after limited opportunity in his previous six seasons. He projects as a rotational nose tackle.
T.J. Bollers, DT, Cal
2025 Stats: 42 total tackles, 0.5 sacks
Bollers excels in run defense, using his 6-foot-2, 305-pound frame to disrupt rushers at the line of scrimmage. Last season, in conference play, Bollers recorded four or more tackles on three occasions, including two six-tackle performances.
Devon Marshall, CB, NC State
2025 Stats: 50 total tackles, 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 15 passes defensed
Marshall was seen as a potential sixth-seventh round draft pick entering day 3, but eventually ended up with Jacksonville after going undrafted.
His 15 passes defensed stand out, along with an 86.1 PFF Grade, which ranks 22nd of 897 qualified defensive backs.
This was the Jaguars' most impressive and viable UDFA signing as secondary is a big question mark entering the 2026 season.
Preston Hodge, CB, Colorado
2025 Stats: 55 total tackles, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery, 13 passes defensed
Hodge began his career at Liberty before joining Coach Prime in Boulder, CO, for his final two collegiate seasons.
In his senior campaign, Hodge recorded career-highs in tackles and passes defensed.
Devin Neal, S, Virginia
2025 Stats: 88 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, 7 passes defensed
Neal brings six years of collegiate experience with him to Jacksonville, making stops at Louisville and Baylor before finishing out at Virginia.
With the Cavaliers, Neal had his best collegiate season, serving as a tackle machine for the ACC-runner ups.
