Leading up to the NFL Draft, there are deals going on that put teams in position to enjoy success from the smoke-filled war rooms with big boards on the walls. GMs make calls with offers that could change a team’s future or simply bolster an already talented roster.
After comparing media mock drafts of prospects in Round 2, then Round 3 and most recently Round 4, we now turn to what football talent Round 5 could bring to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Using the Pro Football Network (PFN) mock draft simulator, we will show comparisons of how the fifth-round mock draft of PFN, ESPN, Pro Football Focus, and The Athletic plays out for the Jaguars.
A steady presence on the Wildcats offensive line, Farmer earned an overall grade of 84 and only allowed two sacks, two QB pressures and committed only two penalties.
Strengths: Farmer can dominate defenders at the line of scrimmage with his 34.5- inch arms. He is a drive blocker in the run game and can redirect the opposition with ease.
Weaknesses: Farmer lacks acceleration, which limits his results at the second-level of the defense.
The Worldwide Leader in Sports projected a trade at this spot. The Jaguars received the No. 137 pick of the fourth round, and sent their picks in Round 5 (Nos. 162 and 164) to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jaguars used that fourth-round pick on Demon Deacons defensive tackle Fa’alili Fa’amoe.
Started all 12 games for the Deacons in 2025, playing over 700 snaps. Fa’amoe was an Honorable Mention All-ACC selection and has 38 career starts to his credit.
Strengths: Fa’amoe has big hands, good arm length, and power to anchor and defeat double-teams at the point of attack.
Weaknesses: Marginal athleticism and slow footwork allow for penetration around edges for opposing defenders.
Faison led the Gamecocks with 470 yards rushing, and scored three touchdowns. For his career, Faison has rushed for over 2,300 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Strengths: Quick burst of speed, can hit the holes quickly, and excels at inside zone schemes.
Weaknesses: Faison lacks top-end speed to take runs the distance for scores, and his pass protection is a concern.
Crownover is a massive human being at 6-foot-7, and340 pounds. He earned a run grade of 72.4 from PFF, and allowed one quarterback hit and two sacks in 427 pass-blocking snaps, and over 1,000 snaps combined against SEC competition.
At the Senior Bowl, Crownover was consistent in one-on-ones, showing off his football prowess in front of NFL scouts and GMs.
Strengths: Ability to anchor against power and absorb contact without losing balance, and his size alone is an issue for any defense. Whether he is drive-blocking, or is "pulling," Crownover creates movement and redirects defenders in space.
Weaknesses: Overall pass blocking is considered to be Crownover’s weak link.
Fuller was a first-team All-MAC selection last season, logging one interception, 49 tackles, and 11 pass breakups. As a result, Fuller earned a PFSN grade of 81.0.
Strengths: At 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Fuller uses his frame effectively to challenge receivers. High production in 2025, ranking in the top tier of the MAC in passes defended. Fuller possesses the necessary physical tools for the professional level.
Weaknesses: While displaying promise, he is considered a project at the next level, with some areas of his game need coaching, which shows he is not yet a polished NFL-ready cornerback. Fuller’s football instincts, recognition, and anticipation are still a work in progress. He needs to correct fundamental NFL-level issues to be more consistent and avoid slipping in draft.
At Indiana, Hemby rushed for over 1,100 yards, tops on the team. At 6'0", 208 pounds, Hemby combines a sturdy, compact frame with excellent vision and burst of speed, and he is elusive in the open field.
Strengths: Hemby caught over 100 career passes with just three drops. He is as sure-handed as they come out of the backfield. Hemby plays with acceleration and top-end speed, patience, and one-cut quickness make him a natural fit in zone schemes. With his skill set, Hemby profiles best as a versatile back in the rotation or passing-game specialist.
Weaknesses: Pass protection is a big concern for Hemby.

There is some interesting talent in this round, especially with Crownover and Fuller. The Jaguars could benefit by drafting any of these talented young players. There is a lot of time left before the NFL draft takes place in Pittsburgh in April, and the Jaguars could have any of these players already on their draft boards in the war room.
