Glenn needs to win games and Sunday gives him a chance.

The New York Jets enter Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins with a chance to reach 3-4.

The Jets have played decent football much of this season, but it feels like time may be running out for them to win at a very high level. It's interesting that the Jets haven't been able to win a couple of games they've lost, especially against the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers earlier in the season, two games where they had a strong chance to win, but didn't.

As for how the Jets have played recently, they didn't perform poorly against the New England Patriots, but it was a lot like what we've seen over the past couple of years.

The Jets couldn't do enough on either side of the ball, and as a result, New England came away with another win.

As for Week 7, the Jets have no excuse not to beat the Dolphins.

Over the past decade or so, the Dolphins have certainly found success against the Jets, but this Dolphins team is completely different from the one in years past. Miami hasn't been a great team by any means over the past decade or so, but it's been better than the Jets, at least in terms of beating them.

This time around, Miami enters the contest at 0-5, and while it recently had a bye week, the Jets have no excuse to lose. If they do, it could mean changes for head coach Aaron Glenn.

“Sunday is a must-win for the Jets. I mean, you gotta beat the Dolphins. Now look, the Dolphins are not going to go winless. I mean, they’re not. They are going to win a couple of games, and so the Jets better be on it; otherwise, they could end up being that team.

“If they lost to the Dolphins, boy, woo, the Glenn watch would be on, the Glenn watch would be on because you can’t lose to the Dolphins, but we’ve seen stranger things happen,” ESPN’s Rich Cimini said.

I always hate to call any game a must-win for the Jets, but as we look at New York's schedule over the next couple of weeks, it feels like they have to win these next two games. The Jets will play the Dolphins, then the Las Vegas Raiders in another very winnable game.

After that, things get a bit tougher as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

Glenn has done a better job this season, but the reality is that the Jets need to start winning some games, and that has to start in Week 7.
