Breece Hall cried after signing his massive contract with the New York Jets.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the New York Jets have signed Breece Hall to a three-year, $45.75 million deal worth $15.25 million per year.
Hall, who has spent his entire NFL career with the Jets, emotionally reacted to his new contract.
Hall finished the 2025 season with 1,065 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 36 receptions, 350 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.
A talented playmaker, Hall has 18 rushing touchdowns and nine receiving touchdowns with the Jets, who hired Frank Reich to be their offensive coordinator. Reich replaces Tanner Engstrand.
One NFL analyst thinks Hall could win the 2026 rushing title under Reich. Moe Moton of Bleacher Report believes Hall could have a memorable 2026 season for the Jets.
"Although the New York Jets have struggled offensively in recent years, Breece Hall's supporting cast can help him claim this year's rushing title," Moton wrote. "Hall will run behind a cohesive offensive line that returns four of five starters from the previous season. The New York Jets allowed guard John Simpson to walk in free agency and signed Dylan Parham, who's been a decent starter for the Las Vegas Raiders over the previous four years.
"The Jets' new offensive coordinator, Frank Reich, had a rushing champion lead his offense in 2021, when Jonathan Taylor ran for 1,811 yards. Since 2017, the 64-year-old play-caller has fielded three top-seven ground attacks in seven seasons."
Now that Hall has financial security, he can focus on football and do everything he can to help turn the Jets organization around.
In the 2026 NFL Draft, the Jets did pretty well. They took David Bailey, Sadiq, Omar Cooper Jr., D'Angelo Ponds, Darrell Jackson Jr., Cade Klubnik, Anez Cooper and VJ Payne.
New York acquired Geno Smith from the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason. Smith will be the Jets' starting QB next season.
The Jets went just 3-14 last season. It will be interesting to see how Gang Green performs in Year 2 of the Aaron Glenn era.
