He sees the possibilities.

New York Jets fans shouldn't be too upset about how this season has started. In fact, I would go as far as to say that this year has gone about as perfectly as anybody could have imagined.

While the Jets are 1-2 and could be 3-0 if a couple of things went their way over the first three weeks, this has been a very competitive team, and there's something to be said for that.

However, I completely understand this fan base wanting some success for the first time in a long time, but it's only fair to note that some fans have grown frustrated with the lack of success in big moments.

The Jets simply need to be better when it matters most, and a lot of that starts with the players on the roster, but especially head coach Aaron Glenn. I don't think Glenn is to blame for everything that's gone wrong this year for the Jets, but I do think that if he did a few things better over the past two weeks, we could be looking at a 3-0 team.

Regardless, if there's one thing that seems important in all of this, it's the fact that Glenn has a lot of his guys buying in. Nobody in the locker room seems to be questioning or giving up on their head coach, and that's a step in the right direction.

“I believe in what coach is preaching in terms of what we gotta do to win the game,” linebacker Demario Davis said, per The Athletic. “When we don’t win games, all we gotta do is go back and look at our blueprint. If we lose games and we execute on all of our keys, then we can live with that. If we lose games and we didn’t execute our keys, that’s the margin for error. That’s the gap. We’re going to figure out what we didn’t do and we’re going to work on it.”

As Davis touched on here, a lot of this is going back to the drawing board and seeing what the Jets can do better.

Even more of this is the Jets just simply getting the job done late in the fourth quarter. Over the past two games, those were the issues that needed fixing.

It'll be interesting to see if the Jets can fix that, because if they don't, many are going to put even more pressure on Glenn than he's already feeling.
