New York Jets' Breece Hall Issued Strong Statement During Super Bowl cover image

New York Jets star Breece Hall wants to play on the NFL's biggest stage.

While watching the Super Bowl on Sunday, New York Jets RB Breece Hall sent a message on social media.

Hall told his followers that he would play in the Super Bowl one day.

Hall becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The playmaker will need to leave the Jets if he wants to play in the Super Bowl, as New York is nowhere near close to even making the playoffs.

Hall finished the 2025 season with 1,065 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 36 receptions, 350 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

Under first-year head coach Aaron Glenn, the Jets became the first team in NFL history to not record a defensive interception and lose five straight games by 23 or more points within a single season.

It will be intriguing to see if the Jets re-sign Hall, who has spent his entire NFL career with New York. Gang Green has the second overall pick in the 2026 draft. They are widely expected to select a quarterback.

Hall, who turns 25 in May, has 18 rushing touchdowns and nine receiving touchdowns with the Jets, who hired Frank Reich to be their offensive coordinator. Reich replaces Tanner Engstrand.

The Jets' offense was a walking disaster this season. They were 29th in the NFL in points per game and 32nd in passing yards.

New York started three QBs in 2025: Justin Fields, Tyrod Taylor and Brady Cook. The three QBs combined for 2,777 passing yards and 14 touchdown passes.

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers -- who was released by the Jets after Glenn was hired -- finished the 2025 season with 3,322 passing yards and 24 passing touchdowns with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Even though Glenn's first year in New York was a disaster, he will not be fired. The Jets signed Glenn to a five-year contract last offseason.

"I understand what everybody on the outside is saying," Glenn said. "I'm going to take all those arrows, and that's OK, because I do know this: It's going to turn. And I'm confident in that. ... Just trust me. I know it's hard to say, but trust me and have faith in what we're doing."
