The New York Jets could be looking to move one of their first-round picks in the NFL Draft.
The New York Jets are loaded with capital heading into the NFL Draft, as they possess four picks over the first two rounds.
The Jets will have a pair of first-round selections on Thursday night, owning selection Nos. 2 and 16. But will New York use both of those selections?
The general consensus is that the Jets will take either Texas Tech's David Bailey or Ohio State's Arvell Reese at No. 2, but what they do with their latter Day 1 selection is a bit more ambiguous.
New York could take a wide receiver at No. 16, but it could also try and move out of the pick to acquire even more draft capital.
Todd McShay of The Ringer said he knows "for a fact" that "the Jets are already fielding calls from teams about potential on-the-clock deals," so there is a chance Gang Green swings yet another deal on draft night.
New York has a plethora of needs up and down the roster, so it would make sense for the Jets to stockpile as many draft choices as possible.

Washington's Denzel Boston, for example, has been linked to New York, and Boston is generally viewed as a late first-round pick or an early second-rounder.
The Jets own pick Nos. 33 and 44 in Round 2, so it stands to reason that New York could trade down from No. 16, address a different area of need and still end up with Boston with the top selection of Day 2.
Whatever the case, there is no doubt that the Jets are set up incredibly well heading into the draft thanks to their midseason trades of defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and cornerback Sauce Gardner, deals that also landed New York extra draft capital for 2027, as well.
Of course, the Jets still have to hit on these picks in order for it to work, and historically, they have struggled in that area.
But general manager Darren Mougey seems to know what he is doing. We'll see if he strikes big on Thursday evening.
