With the changes to the quarterback position for the New York Jets heading into Week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens, it could put a bigger emphasis on what Breece Hall is going to do in the run game.

Throughout the season, Hall has been one of the better running backs in the NFL with 722 yards, but he can certainly be a bit better.

Despite that reality, there have also been games throughout the year where Hall looks very good, and one could even make the argument that he's been one of the better running backs in the NFL at times.

A big part of that has been his ability to make explosive plays, which has helped the Jets' offense throughout much of the past few years. There have been multiple times, even in the past few games, when Hall has made a massive play due to his speed and ability to break tackles.

"Sometimes, you're able to call all the plays, get all the plays off the play sheet. Sometimes, you're not," Hall said, per the team.. "So, for me, it's just about doing my job and being effective the times I do get the ball."

"I'm running the ball very efficiently," Hall said. "I'm up there in explosive runs, explosive plays, yards per carry after contact, yards before contact. The O-line's been blocking very well. So, it's been good to see how efficient we've been running the ball, how effective it's been."

While the quarterback situation is certainly something that has to be factored in here, as every team in the NFL always wants to have guys who are ready to go at the position, and the Jets haven't over the past few years, Hall also admitted that it's the next man up mentality.

"We've always had that next-man up mentality, no matter what the position is," Hall said. "With change comes opportunity, so we're just trying to approach it the same every day and keep getting better."

It'll be interesting to see how they look against Baltimore, as the Ravens' pass defense isn't exactly great by any means.

However, if we see the same struggles that we've seen for much of the year in the pass game, much might not change in Baltimore.
