Amon-Ra St. Brown Earns an A After Dominant Year cover image

Consistency is the hardest thing to sustain in the NFL, and Amon-Ra St. Brown continues to make it look routine.

is officially back in session in Detroit, and it is time to hand out another report card. In the previous installment, the spotlight was on the continued rise of Jameson Williams, who earned an A- after a breakout season. This time, the focus shifts to a player who has long since established himself as one of the NFL’s elite wide receivers. Amon-Ra St. Brown did not just meet expectations in 2025 — he once again exceeded them.

After another dominant year, St. Brown earns a well-deserved A.

St. Brown continued his remarkable consistency by posting his fourth straight season with more than 1,100 receiving yards and his second season surpassing the 1,400-yard mark. He finished the season with 117 receptions, tied for fifth-most in the NFL, 1,401 receiving yards, also fifth-best, and 11 touchdown catches, which ranked second league-wide. All three totals marked the second-highest single-season figures of his career, underscoring both his reliability and sustained excellence.

The numbers place St. Brown in rare company. He became just the fourth player in NFL history to record 100 or more receptions and at least 10 touchdown catches in three consecutive seasons. He is also the fifth player in league history to produce two seasons of at least 100 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards within his first three career seasons. At just 25 years old, St. Brown continues to rewrite franchise and league benchmarks at a historic pace.

Already a two-time All-Pro, St. Brown is once again in strong position to earn the honor for a third straight season. His impact on the Lions’ offense goes far beyond the stat sheet. He remains the engine of Detroit’s passing attack, consistently drawing top coverage while still finding ways to dominate on critical downs and in high-leverage moments.

St. Brown recorded five games with more than 100 receiving yards this season, with several standout performances defining his year. In Week 2 against the Chicago Bears, he caught fire with 115 yards and three touchdowns, marking the first three-touchdown game of his career. Later in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams, he delivered one of his most explosive outings, hauling in 164 yards — the second-highest total of his career — along with two more touchdowns.

While durability has been a hallmark of St. Brown’s career, there was one brief scare. Although he did not officially miss a game, he was ruled out early on Thanksgiving against the Green Bay Packers after exiting on the Lions’ third offensive play. Even so, the moment proved to be an exception rather than a concern, as he quickly returned to form in the weeks that followed.

St. Brown posted three separate games with at least two touchdown receptions, repeatedly proving to be Jared Goff’s most trusted target near the goal line. His chemistry with quarterback and coaching staff remains elite, and his physical, detail-oriented style continues to set the tone for Detroit’s offense.

Alongside Jameson Williams, St. Brown formed one of the league’s most dangerous receiving duos, giving the Lions a balanced and explosive passing attack. As Detroit looks ahead, one thing is clear: Amon-Ra St. Brown remains the standard — and his report card reflects nothing short of excellence.
