The New York Giants are preparing to face the Dallas Cowboys in their season finale on Sunday, and they will have to do so without two key players.
The Giants have revealed that wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (rib) and cornerback Cor'Dale Flott (knee) will be sidelined for the Week 18 clash. It's the second straight game Flott has missed.
Robinson and Flott will join a host of New York players who will be out for the last affair of the 2025 campaign, and given that it would actually benefit the Giants to lose, that isn't a bad thing.
New York is playing for draft position more than anything else right now.
The Giants likely blew an opportunity to secure the No. 1 pick last week when they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders. Now, they have to hold on to the No. 2 spot.
If Big Blue defeats the Cowboys this weekend, it is risking falling all the way to No. 7 in the NFL Draft order, which would be absolutely devastating for the franchise.
It's also entirely possible that we have seen the last of both Robinson and Flott in a Giants uniform, as noth players are headed toward free agency this offseason.

The 25-year-old was originally selected by New York in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft and put together a couple of solid seasons with the G-Men before finally coming into his own in 2025.
Meanwhile, Flott was taken by the Giants in the third round of the same draft and has established himself as a critical piece in New York's secondary.
Flott played in 14 games this season, registering 38 tackles, an interception and 11 passes defended in what was the best showing of his career to date.
With the Giants not having a ton of cap room heading into the offseason, it stands to reason that both players will depart in the spring, although New York will almost certainly make an effort to re-sign at least one of them.
The Giants are 3-13 on the year and have now missed the playoffs 12 times in the last 14 seasons. Times have been very tough for the proud NFL franchise.
