If the New York Giants were able to pull off this wide receiver trade, Jaxson Dart's life would be very different.
The New York Giants will almost certainly add a wide receiver for Jaxson Dart this offseason, especially if Wan'Dale Robinson walks via free agency.
The Giants do have Malik Nabers coming back for 2026, although there are concerns about his long-term health after tearing his ACL.
New York has been regularly linked to Ohio State star Carnell Tate in the first round of the NFL Draft, but is it possible the Giants could potentially pull off a blockbuster trade for a receiver?
Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine is not discounting the possibility, naming Miami Dolphins star Jaylen Waddle as a possibility for New York.
"The wide receiver market could be interesting for the Giants," Ballentine wrote. "Wan'Dale Robinson had a huge breakout season, but they'll have to decide if he'll continue to produce at that level for the contract he could command. If they decide that isn't the case they could circle back on a name like Jaylen Waddle after showing interest in him at the trade deadline."
Waddle caught 64 passes for 910 yards and six touchdowns this past season despite the Dolphins' topsy-turvy quarterback situation.

Waddle has blazing speed and would comprise a tremendous downfield threat for Dart, who showed brilliant potential in 2025 in spite of a very limited supply of weapons at his disposal.
Assuming full health for Nabers, a Nabers-Waddle wide receiver duo would be one of the league's best and could turn the Giants' offense into one of the more dynamic units in football.
Of course, the cost to acquire Waddle would surely not be cheap.
The 27-year-old signed a three-year, $85 million extension with the Dolphins back in May 2024, a contract that doesn't even kick in until next season. That means Waddle is under wraps in South Beach through 2028.
Taking that into account, the Dolphins do not have to be in any rush to trade Waddle, and with Miami expected to cut Tyreek Hill, it might not make much sense for the team to move Waddle, as well.
But the idea of Waddle in the Big Apple is certainly tantalizing.
