The New York Giants are probably done making significant moves in free agency, as they do not exactly have much financial wiggle room remaining.
Yes, Brian Thomas Jr. rumors are floating around, but chances are, the Giants won't be swinging a trade for the Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver.
New York will now be turning its attention to the NFL Draft, where it owns the No. 5 overall pick and has a bevy of options at its disposal.
The Giants are in dire need of a wide receiver after losing Wan'Dale Robinson to free agency, so you have to figure they will be nabbing a wide out at some point in the draft, whether that's with their top draft pick or within the first couple of rounds.
They absolutely must find another weapon for Jaxson Dart, even after adding tight end Isaiah Likely.
But is it possible New York could create even more flexibility by trading down?
The chances of the Giants attempting to move down are becoming more and more real as the draft approaches, and Ryan Roberts of A to Z Sports has proposed a blockbuster trade scenario for Big Blue in that regard.
In the hypothetical deal, Roberts has New York sending the No. 5 overall pick to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for the eighth pick as well as pick Nos. 40 and 149.
He then has the Giants selecting Arizona State receiver Jordyn Tyson at No. 8.

"As long as his durability is solid enough, Tyson has outstanding upside on the next level. Tyson is a three-level separator with some outrageous downfield acceleration."
While I like the idea of New York trading down, I do not like the Tyson prediction.
Tyson is viewed by many as the most well-rounded wide receiver in this year's draft class, and he very well may be. But we cannot ignore his injury history.
The 21-year-old tore his ACL, MCL and PCL back when he was at Colorado in 2022 and then suffered a broken collarbone with the Sun Devils in 2024. This past season, Tyson dealt with a nagging hamstring injury and skipped Scouting Combine workouts as a result.
If that isn't a red flag, I don't know what is.
Tyson seems to have the highest floor of any of the top receivers in this year's class, but I do question his ceiling, and I don't think he is quite good enough to be worth the risk of selecting that high in the draft.
The Giants could trade down and select a cornerback or a defensive tackle (both of which are significant needs) and then select a wide receiver in Round 2 ... or they could just take Carnell Tate at No. 5.
They absolutely should pass on Tyson.
