The New York Giants are being projected to land a 6-foot-7 monster in a major NFL Draft trade.
The New York Giants own the No. 5 overall pick in the NFL Draft later this month, and no one is really sure which direction they should proceed.
Should they settle for a defensive player like linebacker Sonny Styles or safety Caleb Downs? Should they take a weapon like wide receiver Carnell Tate? Should they trade the pick?
The latter scenario would actually probably be the most ideal for the Giants, as they are short on draft capital as it is, and there does not appear to be any can't-miss talent at No. 5.
Well, Rob Rang of FOX Sports has pitched a trade proposal for New York, predicting the Giants to complete a trade with the Miami Dolphins to move down to No. 11.
Rang then has New York selecting Alabama offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor.
"The Giants would be living up to their name with the addition of the 6-foot-7, 352-pound Proctor, who ranks among the most polarizing prospects in this class," Rang wrote. "John Harbaugh won with massive offensive lines in Baltimore, and I don’t expect his style to change now. Whether it be at tackle or guard, I believe Proctor projects as a decade-long NFL starter. The Dolphins have four picks in the third round this year. The Giants can net at least two of those to move out of the top 10."

Currently, Aaron Stinnie is slated to start at right guard for the G-Men, which is almost certainly not going to remain a thing. New York will get somebody, whether that's re-signing Greg Van Roten, reuniting with Kevin Zeitler or drafting someone.
Could that someone be Proctor?
While Proctor has the size to play tackle, some have questioned whether or not he has the athleticism to man the position on the professional level. In that case, moving to guard could be what's best for his career.
Proctor could very well be the best offensive lineman in this draft class, so getting him at No. 11 could ultimately prove to be a potential steal for the Giants.
I definitely like the idea of trading down, and Proctor would absolutely be tempting at No. 11.
