The New York Giants are reportedly looking to make a key move to help Jaxson Dart.
While the New York Giants have numerous glaring needs heading into the NFL Draft, the top priority should always be making life as easy as possible for quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Dart didn't exactly have an easy road during his rookie campaign, as Malik Nabers suffered a torn ACL in Dart's first start, and the Giants' roster offered very little help otherwise.
New York has tried to address that this offseason, signing tight end Isaiah Likely while also adding wide receivers Calvin Austin III and Darnell Mooney, but it should be noted that the Giants lost Wan'Dale Robinson in the process.
Wide receiver remains a need for Big Blue, but so does right guard.
The Giants currently do not have a clear starter at the position, and even though they just acquired 6-foot-8, 380-pound Daniel Faalele, New York should absolutely still be looking to add a guard early in the draft.
Apparently, the G-Men are looking to do just that.
ESPN's Jordan Raanan has reported that the Giants are interested in selecting a guard with the 37th overall pick and named both Texas A&M's Chase Bisontis — with whom New York held a pre-draft visit on Friday — and Georgia Tech's Keylan Rutledge as possibilities.

New York doesn't have a single potential starting guard signed beyond this season, and its desire to protect quarterback Jaxson Dart now and into the future would align with its desire to get an offensive lineman with one of its first two picks."
During the prime days of Eli Manning, New York had one of the best offensive lines in football, which helped the club win Super Bowl championships in 2007-08 and 2011-12.
Over the last decade-plus, though, the trenches have been a major sticking point for the Giants.
New York seems to be moving in a positive direction in that area, as the tackle tandem of Andrew Thomas and Jermaine Eluemunor is one of the NFL's best, but the interior of the line is definitely a work in progress.
That's where one of Bisontis or Rutledge come into play, and Oregon's Emmanuel Pregnon could be another name to watch, as well.
We also cannot entirely rule out the possibility of the Giants trading down for a guard in the first round. Penn State's Olaivavega Ioane could be a candidate, and monstrous Alabama tackle Kadyn Proctor has been pitched as a name that could potentially move inside.
We'll see what New York decides to do in a couple of weeks.
