The New York Giants will have a difficult decision to make on Wan'Dale Robinson this offseason, as the breakout wide receiver is slated to hit free agency.
Robinson is coming off of a 1,000-yard campaign and is projected to land a hefty contract this March, so the Giants may have a tough time keeping him.
Matthew Schmidt and Dylan Feltovich of Giants Roundtable discussed Robinson hitting the open market plus a bunch of other key topics in the newest episode of the Giants Roundtable podcast.
The topics are as follows:
- The Giants have hired Dennard Wilson as their new defensive coordinator, which follows a rough two-year stint Wilson had with the Tennessee Titans. Is there cause for concern with the hire? Or should we just trust that John Harbaugh — who worked with Wilson in Baltimore in 2023 — knows what he's doing?
- New York still needs to hire an offensive coordinator, and with Todd Monken off the board, that just became more challenging. Who are some potential options for the Giants? Because the development of Jaxson Dart is so critical, this will be an enormous decision for Big Blue. They need to make the right one, and there are a couple of names that make more sense than others.
- Robinson could land a contract worth well north of $15 million annually, with Spotrac projecting $17.6 million per year over four seasons. Can New York afford to re-sign Robinson at that price given its cap situation? And would it be a wise move with Malik Nabers also up for a contract extension after next year?
- If the Giants do end up losing Robinson, who could they land to replace him? Will they sign a cheaper option in free agency? Or would they just punt to the NFL Draft where options like Carnell Tate and Denzel Boston exist?
- In this week's edition of NFL Draft highlights, Schmidt and Feltovich focused on Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy, who missed all of 2025 with a torn ACL but is still viewed by many as the top corner in this year's draft class. Would it be too risky New York to take McCoy at No. 5 overall? Or would it make sense?
All that and more in the newest episode of the Giants Roundtable podcast.
