The New York Giants could land this compelling wide receiver that is flying under the radar.

The New York Giants will almost surely be adding a wide receiver in some form or fashion this offseason, as Malik Nabers is recovering from a torn ACL and Wan'Dale Robinson is hitting free agency.

The Giants' clearest path to a receiver is definitely via the NFL Draft, especially in a 2026 class that is rife with talent at the position.

Many mock drafts have New York taking Ohio State Buckeyes star Carnell Tate with the fifth overall pick this April, but thanks to the depth at wide out in this group, the Giants may not even have to take one in the first round.

New York could always circle back to a wide receiver in Round 2 or even on Day 3, and there is one player in particular who should already be catching Big Blue's eye: North Dakota State standout Bryce Lance.

Lance is considered by some to be the No. 1 FCS prospect in this year's draft class, and we have seen NDSU produce NFL talent before.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound playmaker hauled in 51 receptions for 1,079 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025, averaging a terrific 21.2 yards per catch.

Lance arrived at North Dakota State in 2021 and redshirted his first year. He didn't begin earning significant playing time until 2024, when he caught 75 passes for 1,053 yards and 17 scores.

The 24-year-old is not known for his elite speed, but his size, hands and instincts make him a very viable vertical threat.

Lance is projected to be a mid-round pick this spring, so he could end up being a major sleeper in the fourth or fifth round.

The Giants could definitely use an X-receiver alongside of Nabers, and the big-bodied Lance certainly fits that bill.

Obviously, New York could just make it easy on itself and take Tate at No. 5, but if the G-Men wish to address other areas of need in the opening round of the draft, they could kick the can down the road for a wide receiver and settle for Lance later.

Heck, I say "settle," but there is a chance that Lance could actually develop into one of the more impressive weapons in this year's class.

Jaxson Dart absolutely needs a large target to find in the red zone other than tight end Theo Johnson, who doesn't exactly have the surest hands.

Perhaps Lance could be the answer Dart and the Giants need.
