The New York Giants have a few key players hitting the open market next month, and thus far, the news on them has mostly been rough.
Wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson is expected to get upward of $15 million a year in free agency, and apparently, cornerback Cor'Dale Flott might land over $16 million annually.
The Giants probably aren't bringing either of those two players back at those rates, especially not with their current financial situation.
But what about offensive tackle Jermaine Eluemunor?
Eluemunor was quietly one of the better tackles in pass protection this past season, posting a 76.7 pass-blocking grade at Pro Football Focus.
Given how imperative it is to ensure that quarterback Jaxson Dart has proper protection, re-signing Eluemunor should be a priority for New York this offseason, and it might be easier than you may expect.
During a recent appearance on the Giants Nation podcast, Ryan Dunleavy of The New York Post revealed that Eluemunor's market may not be so robust, which could allow Big Blue to retain the 31-year-old on an affordable contract.

If he's going to have to accept a lesser contract, then he might accept it in a place that his family likes it."
Spotrac is projecting Eluemunor to land a two-year, $17.3 million deal, which comes out to $8.7 million in average annual value.
"I would have told you when the season ended that he was the least likely to come back," Dunleavy added. "... I thought he was going to get a $20 million a year contract, and it doesn't sound like he's going to. ... He's the one that's trending up for me."
The Giants signed Eluemunor to a two-year, $14 million deal in March 2024. He proceeded to start 31 out of 34 possible games in New York and was a steady, consistent presence in each of his first two years in the Big Apple.
It should also be noted that Eluemunor is familiar with John Harbaugh, as the spent his first two NFL seasons in Baltimore after the Ravens selected him in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
