Could the New York Giants make a move for this Kansas City Chiefs speedster?
The New York Giants' wide receiver room is certainly a point of contention heading into the NFL offseason.
Malik Nabers tore his ACL back in Week 4, and his status for next season is in question. Wan'Dale Robinson is hitting free agency, and Darius Slayton just had the most nightmarish campaign of his career.
By all accounts, the Giants need to make a move at wide receiver this spring, and while they could simply nab Ohio State star Carnell Tate with the fifth overall pick of the NFL Draft, they could also make a move in free agency.
One potential option is Marquise Brown, who spent the last couple of seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Anthony Rivardo of Empire Sports Media has noted Brown as a possibility, highlighting his familiarity with freshly-minted New York offensive coordinator Matt Nagy.
"This past season, Brown performed well in Nagy’s system, totaling 587 yards (his most since 2022) and five touchdowns," Rivardo wrote. "[Patrick] Mahomes and Nagy relied on Brown’s speed and playmaking abilities out of the slot."

Brown barely played in 2024 due to a collarbone injury that sidelined him for most of the year, but he appeared in 16 games this past season, averaging 12 yards per catch.
The 28-year-old should not be too expensive in free agency, and it's entirely possible that the Giants — who lack financial flexibility — may be able to nab him on an affordable one-year contract.
Brown was originally selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the 25th overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft and spent the first three years of his career with the Ravens, which featured a 1,000-yard campaign in 2021.
The University of Oklahoma product then asked for a trade and was dealt to the Arizona Cardinals, where he was unable to quite match his former production.
Brown has had difficulty staying healthy ever since departing Baltimore, which has been a big reason for his downturn. But he remains a very viable option for a Giants team that is definitely in need of another weapon for Jaxson Dart.
