The New York Giants have a new QB.

The New York Giants have signed quarterback Brandon Allen.

Allen is the Giants' third QB behind Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston.

The 33-year-old Allen played in one game for the Tennessee Titans last season. He had 72 passing yards and one interception.

Allen has played for the Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers and Titans. He has 1,882 passing yards and 11 passing touchdowns in 19 NFL games.

John Harbaugh is the Giants' new head coach, while Matt Nagy is the new OC. New York hasn't made the playoffs since the 2022 season. That was the first year of the Brian Daboll era.

Dart finished his rookie season with 2,272 passing yards, 15 passing touchdowns, five interceptions, 487 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns. He appears to have a bright future with Harbaugh and Nagy in his corner now.

How enthusiastic is Dart to play for Harbaugh? He took time out of a family vacation to talk about the massive hire with ESPN's Jordan Raanan in January.

Harbaugh is considered one of the best coaches in NFL history. He went 180-113 in the regular season and 13-11 in the playoffs with the Baltimore Ravens.

"When Coach Harbaugh's name came up, that was the one that we were all really, really excited about and wanted to have," Dart said during an interview with ESPN while on a family vacation. "So I think from just our standpoint, the guys just can't wait to play for him and have the chance to get coached by him."

Dart was close with Daboll, but he believes Harbaugh will turn the New York franchise around.

"He was just a coach who I feel like I just bought into the things that he was saying immediately, and just the way that he carries himself and can conduct himself in front of a room and his track record is incredible," Dart said. "So immediately the winning culture, the intensity, and then just the enthusiasm and love about football, that's what he carries and brings to the team. So, just can't wait to get started and get rolling with him."
