The New York Giants land a couple of major sleepers in this four-round mock draft.
The New York Giants have a bunch of needs heading into the offseason, and while they can fill some holes in free agency, it seems most likely that they will fix most of their issues in the NFL Draft.
Of course, the Giants do not currently have a third-round pick, which certainly throws a wrench into things, but they could potentially land one via trade. We won't get into that here, though.
For now, we'll just run a mock draft featuring New York's current selections through four rounds, and in this version, the Giants will land a couple of big-time sleepers.
Round 1 (No. 5): Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

New York needs a wide receiver, especially with Malik Nabers' health in question for next season. Wan'Dale Robinson might also walk via free agency. The Giants should look to replace him with a fellow slot receiver like Jalen Nailor, but they also really need another wide out on the outside.
Tate may very well be the most gifted wide receiver in this draft class, standing 6-foot-3 and weighing around 200 pounds with tremendous athleticism.
He didn't register 1,000 yards at Ohio State in 2025, but that was only because he served as the Buckeyes' No. 2 receiver behind Jeremiah Smith.
Tate could very well be the X-receiver that the Giants sorely need to make Nabers' job easier in 2026 and beyond.
Round 2 (No. 37): Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech

Enter Lee Hunter, one of the fastest-rising defensive prospects in this draft class ... but yet still a pretty big sleeper.
New York badly needs help against the run after finishing 31st in run defense this past season. Hunter could definitely provide a solution.
The Texas Tech product is a 6-foot-4, 325-pound behemoth who registered 41 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in 2025. He isn't much of a pass-rushing threat, but that's what Dexter Lawrence is for.
I really feel many are underestimating the Giants' need for another defensive tackle. Hopefully, John Harbaugh and Big Blue brass aren't guilty of that themselves.
Round 4 (No. 105): Devin Moore, CB, Florida
Devin Moore. Credit: Kim Klement Neitzel-Imagn Images. Will Devin Moore still be on the board at No. 105? It's a tough question.
The Florida star is entering the draft with serious red flags regarding his health history, as he never played a full season until 2025.
However, it's hard to ignore Moore's potential. He stands 6-foot-3, weighs 200 pounds and possesses impressive athleticism and instincts.
In a deep cornerback draft class, Moore could potentially slip to Day 3 because of the durability concerns. That would make the Naples, Fl. native a fairly risky pick for the Giants, but getting a player of his skill set in the fourth round would be fantastic.
Moore actually has the potential to become one of the better defensive backs out of this upcoming group, and with New York needing secondary assistance, he could end up being a home run pick for the squad.
