The New York Giants have some critical decisions to make this offseason, and one of them involves wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson.
Robinson is slated to hit free agency after a breakout 2025 campaign in which he hauled in 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns, and he is projected to land a pretty hefty contract.
The Giants' wide receiver room was a major problem this past season thanks to Malik Nabers suffering a torn ACL back in Week 4, but Robinson was able to step up and provide Jaxson Dart with a reliable target.
However, during a recent episode of the Giants Nation podcast, Ryan Dunleavy of The New York Post said that he does not expect Robinson to return this spring.
This honestly does not come as much of a surprise.
The Giants currently have just $6.9 million in cap room, and Spotrac is predicting Robinson to land a four-year, $70.6 million contract on the open market.
That's a heck of a lot for a receiver who never even achieved 700 receiving yards in three seasons before 2025, and it's also quite a bit for a team that does not have a ton of financial wiggle room.

The Giants own the No. 5 overall pick in the NFL Draft, so they can always select someone like Ohio State's Carnell Tate to fill that role alongside of Nabers. Or, New York can replace Robinson with a cheaper slot option like fellow free agent Jalen Nailor, who might be just as productive as Robinson in the right situation.
New York also needs to worry about re-signing offensive tackle Jermaine Eluemunor and cornerback Cor'Dale Flott, both of whom are arguably more important pieces than Robinson.
Robinson had a terrific year in 2025 and is definitely a solid weapon, but given his expected price tag, the Giants would probably be better off moving on, even if it may initially seem like a huge loss.
In the end, Robinson is very replaceable, so New York should allow him to make his big bucks elsewhere.
