This is not fair to Eli Manning.

According to Dan Duggan and Ian O'Connor of The Athletic, New York Giants legend Eli Manning didn't make the Pro Football Hall of Fame again.

It's the second consecutive year Manning wasn't voted in.

Manning spent his entire NFL career with the Giants. He won two Super Bowls and two Super Bowl MVPs and made four Pro Bowls. The Ole Miss product finished his career with 57,023 passing yards, 366 passing touchdowns and 244 interceptions.

The Giants went 117-117-0 with Manning under center. Manning completed 60.3% of his passes. He led the NFL in interceptions three times.

Manning ranks 11th in NFL history in career passing yards and 11th in career passing touchdowns (he ranked seventh in both categories when he retired after the 2019 season). He started 210 straight games from 2004 to 2017, which is the third-longest streak ever among quarterbacks.

Manning is one of six players with multiple Super Bowl MVPs. The three Hall of Fame-eligible players from that group (Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw and Bart Starr) were all first-ballot inductees. The other two players in that class (Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes) will likely be unanimous selections the moment they're eligible for induction

Manning should eventually get into the Hall of Fame. After all, he did win two Super Bowls and two Super Bowl MVPs.
