Is this too high or too low for Malik Nabers?

New York Giants star Malik Nabers was ranked the 14th-best WR in the NFL by Bleacher Report's scouting department.

Nabers is one spot ahead of D.J. Moore of the Buffalo Bills and one spot behind Jaylen Waddle of the Denver Broncos.

Nabers was not on the PUP list to start training camp. He's coming back from a serious knee injury.

"One of the rising stars at the wide receiver position in the NFL, Nabers' 2025 season was limited to four games due to a torn ACL," Bleacher Report wrote. "Pre-injury, he was an explosive route-runner who changed directions suddenly. Nabers moved around the Giants' offensive formations and served as a coverage indicator with pre-snap motions. He displayed springy athleticism, rising over defensive backs and making circus-like catches down the field.

"Everyone's in wait-and-see mode regarding his recovery from two knee surgeries and an unknown timetable for his return. If he returns to a fully healthy and athletically explosive version of himself, Nabers will be higher on this list."

Nabers tore his ACL in Week 4 last season. He also underwent meniscus surgery and needed an additional cleanup procedure earlier this year to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness.

Nabers finished with 18 receptions for 271 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns last season. He got hurt against the Los Angeles Chargers at home.

Overall with the Giants, Nabers has 127 catches for 1,475 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns. He made the Pro Bowl as a rookie and his 127 receptions through the first 19 games of his career rank second to Odell Beckham Jr. in NFL history for the most through 20 games.

Nabers was named a dark-horse candidate to win the 2026 Offensive Player of the Year award by Alex Kay of Bleacher Report. When he's healthy, Nabers is one of the best wideouts in the NFL.

"As long as Nabers keeps trending toward a Week 1 return, he'll represent the best bang-for-your-buck bet you can make on the Offensive Player of the Year award," Kay wrote.

It will be intriguing to see when Nabers is back in the lineup catching passes from QB Jaxson Dart. The Giants signed Beckham Jr. this offseason, bringing the former star back to New York.

Dart finished his rookie season with 2,272 passing yards, 15 passing touchdowns, five interceptions, 487 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns. He appears to have a bright future with OC Matt Nagy and HC John Harbaugh in his corner now.

In Year 1 of the Harbaugh era, the Giants play the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Commanders, New Orleans Saints, Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions.

We just watched the New York Knicks win the NBA championship this year. Anything is possible in sports, so let's see if the Giants can shock the world next season and make the playoffs.

To make the postseason, Dart, Nabers, OBJ and Cam Skattebo have to play at a high level.
