The Green Bay Packers are once again the top team in the NFC North after beating the Chicago Bears in Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season.
It feels like a long time coming, that's because it is. The Packers last won the NFC North in 2021.
For context, Aaron Rodgers was the quarterback, Jordan Love was in just his second NFL season after a rookie campaign that basically saw him take a redshirt, and Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was playing for the Oklahoma Sooners.
That was ages ago. Since then, the Minnesota Vikings have won the division once and the Detroit Lions have won it in back-to-back seasons.
The Packers have vanquished the Lions after sweeping them on Thanksgiving Day and they beat the Vikings the week before that game. In fact, the Packers are 4-0 against NFC North opponents after the 28-21 win over the Bears in Week 14.
There's still football left to be played, of course. We're talking about the North like it's locked up, but that's far from the truth.
The Packers have a game against a really good Denver Broncos team coming up in Week 15, and then they play another game against the Bears, but this time in Chicago. The Pack also has one more game against the Vikings to play.
There's still a ton of football left before the playoffs, but the Packers have to feel good about where they're at with their 9-3-1 record.
Multiple players stepped up in the win over the Bears, and several stars are emerging for Green Bay here at the end of the season when it matters most.
Quarterback Jordan Love is playing like an elite quarterback, and he could ultimatly find himself in the MVP conversation.
Josh Jacobs is running tough and now that he's healthy, he could carry the Pack across the finish line thanks to his tough-running style.
Speaking of healthy, wide receiver Christian Watson has been playing like a superstar since returning from an ACL injury earlier this season and the top wideout from the last two seasons, Jayden Reed, made his long-awaited return against the Bears.
And then there's Micah Parsons and the defense, which looks elite.
