Aaron Rodgers Reveals Future Plans With Packers cover image

Four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers plans to retire from the NFL with the Green Bay Packers.

When Aaron Rodgers decides to retire from the NFL, he will do so as a Green Bay Packer.

Rodgers, who faces the Packers this Sunday for the first time since getting traded by the franchise to the New York Jets in 2023, has "a lot of love for the organization."

"I was there for 18 years," Rodgers said, via ESPN's Rob Demovsky. "Regardless of when I hang it up, that's the bulk of my career. I'll retire a Packer and see what happens after that. I've got a lot of love for the organization [and] my time there. They asked this week is it a revenge game or whatever. What do I got to be avenging here? They made me a ton of money. I grew up there, spent some of the best years of my life there. I've got nothing but love for the organization."

Rodgers appeared in 230 games with the Packers. He threw for 59,055 yards and 475 touchdowns in the regular season.

A four-time MVP, Rodgers played in 21 playoff games with Green Bay. He threw for 5,894 yards and 45 touchdowns.

Rodgers and the Packers won Super Bowl XLV against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers won the Super Bowl MVP Award.

"It was such a tight-knit group for so long there," said Rodgers of playing in Green Bay from 2005-2022. "I outlasted most of them, but it's fun, that's why I feel so good about my time there because damn near everything great in my life is because of my football career, and my football career starts and will end one day with Green Bay. I've got a lot of love for those memories and a lot of great friends that I still carry with me to this day."

In his first season with the Steelers, Rodgers has 1,270 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns and five interceptions. The future Hall of Famer is completing 68.6% of his passes.

The Steelers are 4-2, while the Packers are 4-1-1.

The Packers-Steelers game is on Sunday Night Football on NBC, so the entire world will get to see Rodgers face his former team.
