The Green Bay Packers face a must-win scenario as injuries mount on both sidelines.
In total, six Green Bay Packers players remain on the injury report leading into a must-win matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Starting 1-3 feels like a death sentence, and it would be even more of a blow knowing this loss came to a previously 0-3 Bucs team who is starting an undrafted rookie quarterback.
Officially, EDGE Lukas Van Ness is off the injury report, so that's big news for this Packers defense.
Elsewhere, star linebacker Edgerrin Cooper is listed as questionable, as is offensive guard/center Jager Burton.
The four players who have been ruled out are listed below.
Which Packers players were ruled out?
OGs Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk along with defensive tackles Warren Brinson and Anthony Campbell have been ruled out for Week 4.
Banks is dealing with injuries to his knee and toe while Monk was ruled out due to an issue with his quadricep.
As for the defensive tackles, Brinson has calf and groin injuries while Campbell's ankle is the reason why he was ruled out.
A look at the Buccaneers injury report
Thankfully, the Buccaneers are quite banged up as well. It may only be three games into the season, but that doesn't mean injuries don't happen.
When looking at who Tampa Bay should expect to play on Sunday, Oct. 4, they have three players listed as questionable and four are already ruled out.
Outside linebacker Rueben Bain Jr. has been ruled out alongside defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches, cornerback Benjamin Morrison, and the expected announcement of quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Questionable players for the Bucs include: CB Jacob Parish, DL A'Shawn Robinson, and OLB Rueben Bain Jr.
Bucs vs. Packers preview
No Mayfield is a huge blow for the Buccaneers, so it's going to be extremely interesting to see how this Packers defense looks against Jalon Daniels.
Daniels spent six years at Kansas where he recorded 9,282 career passing yards with the Jayhawks.
With Van Ness for sure around, Green Bay already has their one-man wrecking crew ready to report for duty.
Offensively, the Packers will still be without running back Josh Jacobs, so that leaves QB Jordan Love once again under an incredible amount of pressure.
Hopefully, this team's three offensive line additions will pay off, even if they don't all suit up at Raymond James Stadium.
If Love has to throw the ball 50+ times again, this team is doing something wrong, and this truly is a must-win game with the rest of the NFC North looking as good as they have up to this point.
