Jordan Love faces a vulnerable Detroit Lions defense as the surging Green Bay Packers visit Ford Field.
The Detroit Lions are 2-0 at home this season, so it should come as no surprise that the Green Bay Packers are heading to Ford Field as slight underdogs.
No matter how impressive GB's recent victories were against the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys, there's nothing quite like a Packers vs. Lions game.
These NFC North rivals will meet for the first time in 2026 on Sunday, Oct. 25, in what is FOX's Game of the Week.
With Tom Brady on the call, Jordan Love will once again have a chance to prove why he's a sleeper MVP pick.
Green Bay heads to Detroit, MI, with a solid 4-2 record. This team is riding its first three-game winning streak of the season, and GB is 2-1 on the road thus far.
When it comes to the Lions, this is a team that's 3-2 overall and was able to enjoy Week 6 off.
Lions opened as 1.5-point favorites
For whatever reason, the Lions went from 1.5-point favorites to three-point favorites in the span of a few days.
These odds come directly from DraftKings, which is an affiliate of ESPN. For reference, ESPN Analytics gives the Lions a 58.4% chance to win this game.
Love and Matt LaFleur are no strangers to playing against this Lions team. Here in 2026, they have a historically bad defense, so it'll be really interesting to see how this Packers offense looks, especially if running back Josh Jacobs does indeed make his season debut.
Green Bay's run game has been nonexistent, to say the least, but Jacobs should give the team life in that department.
The Packers' offensive line has been one of the main talking points through their first six games, and while Love was sacked three times against the Cowboys, this passing offense was working down the field with ease, minus a few drops from wide receivers Matthew Golden and Christian Watson.
That's not to say the Lions don't have weapons on offense; they absolutely do, but this Lions defense is nowhere near where it's been in years past.
If this one turns into a shootout, which would be surprising with how well the Packers have played these last two games, the Lions would be in big trouble.
The over-under is currently set at 53.5 points, and as of Tuesday, Oct. 20, the Lions are -162 favorites, with the Packers coming in at +136 underdogs with five days left to go before kickoff.
